GNOPPIX for GNOME Lovers
Last week, I tried GNOPPIX, aLive CD based upon Ubuntu and it uses GNOME as desktop environment. Now it comes with GNOME 2.12, updates, lot of improvements and an attractive GUI. It has some free software related articles also. I prefer GNOME for its clean and simple interface. I don't like all the eye-candy like WinXP stuff that KDE comes with. And when we took hardware requirements as a parameter, KDE requires more RAM and CPU speed than GNOME. So GNOME is little bit faster than KDE. Now it comes with more features and gr8 GUI. But the only bad news for me is, I didnt find GNU/Emacs in that LiveCD :( I dont know other editors. What my mindset is , "Editor means Emacs".
Why I choose GNOME?
I use GNOME in my HOME. U ?
